The media office of the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamiya, responded to what the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Abu Habib, said about “giving permission by the Council of Ministers to the Minister of Public Works and Transport to communicate with Syria,” explaining that “the Council of Ministers has officially assigned me to communicate with Syria to discuss outstanding issues with the Syrian side, and this was officially recorded in the meeting, and contacts with the Syrian side are still ongoing”.
