Hariri welcomed Order of Nurses delegation
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri received this afternoon at the Center House the President of the Order of Nurses in Lebanon Mirna Doumit and a number of members of the Order. They discussed the difficulties that the nursing sector is currently facing in hospitals, especially in light of the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the August 4 explosion.
The delegation asked Premier Hariri to call on all citizens to respect social distancing as the coming phase may witness an exacerbation of the pandemic.
Hariri thanked the President and members of the Order for the efforts they are exerting in this period during which Lebanon is witnessing major health challenges. He promised to make all efforts to study their demands and facilitate their work.
