Hasan on drugs crisis: ” I’m not your mafia partner, enough is enough” and Abdallah comments

With the continuation of drugs crisis, the Minister of Health in the caretaker government, Hamad Hassan, tweeted: “Since my visit to the bank’s governor last week, the ministry has been working day and night and organizing regulations according to the priorities of medicines and milk that are cut and stored at the importers, awaiting the bank’s promise to pay for their release . I’m not your client and not one of your mafia’s partners, people’s wellbeing is not a hostage of your mood and wrong financial policies. Enough is enough.”

This tweet was followed by a tweet from member of the “Democratic Meeting” MP Bilal Abdullah where he said: “The right cry of the Minister of Health today reflects the depth of the medical crisis in general, and the drug crisis in particular, and its reflection on the citizen’s health security.” Every day you avoid subsidies rationalization through laws – although we, as a progressive socialist party, had presented relative proposals- will exacerbate the crisis, and increase smuggling, seizure and storage. You are throwing a fire ball at each other, shame on you.”
