The administration of Hasbaya Governmental hospital announced on Saturday that the facility was adopted as a COVID-19 vaccination center (Astrazeneca) by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the National News Agency reported.
The hospital called on citizens and residents to register with the health ministry’s electronic platform to be able to receive vaccination.
“Work will begin from Tuesday morning (June 15) at 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.,” it added, calling on the ones wishing to get inoculated to bring their ID card, civil status record or passport to be used in the registration with the platform, and to comply with COVID-19 precautionary measures.
Lebanon’s health ministry announced on Friday that 206 new COVID-19 infections were reported over the past 24 hours, along with 5 deaths.
The total number of confirmed cases stands now at 542,375 while the overall tally of fatalities is 7,790.
