President of the Lebanese Red Cross, Antoine Zoghbi, revealed that the organization is going through difficult circumstances, calling for help from Lebanese residents and expatriates.

Zoghbi explained via an interview with LBCI on the occasion of World Red Cross Day that we want to ensure two extremely important things for citizens, which are blood when needed and emergency medical assistance.

The President of the Lebanese Red Cross pointed out that the organization’s goals are to assist the community, saying, “We help the community through a suitable program and service for each region, and on this basis, we work to finance our projects.”

He emphasized that the association learns from its mistakes, affirming that it is satisfied with transparency, accountability, and external oversight.

On the other hand, Zoghbi explained that the condition for joining the Lebanese Red Cross is that the person must have a love for volunteering, as well as ethics and humanity, and he pointed out that this is the strength of the Lebanese Red Cross.
