The Ministry of Public Health praised, in a statement on Saturday, the positive turnout of citizens and residents in Lebanon with regards to receiving the “AstraZeneca” vaccine as part of the marathon campaign taking place today, with the number of those who have received the vaccine thus far nearing 9,000.

The Ministry stated that “the centers approved for vaccination with AstraZeneca shall continue to provide this service until six this evening in various Lebanese regions,” and called on “those who have not yet received the vaccine and are over the age of thirty years not to hesitate by heading to the vaccination centers with their official identification documents,” reminding that “the increase in the number of vaccinated persons will contribute to accelerating the return to normal life.”
