“Hezbollah regional strategies have become an intolerable burden for Lebanon,” says Abou Faour

“The insult to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership, as well as to Lebanon’s Arab ties, is no longer merely an incidental stance of a general regional position,” said MP Wael Abou Faour of the Democratic Gathering.”

“Hezbollah’s positions and regional policies have become an unbearable burden on Lebanon,” he continued, “and a citizenry is not upright in light of the country being held hostage by a party to it for matters that have nothing to do with Lebanon’s affiliation, no interest in it, and no ability to do so.”

“It is evident that the stated defensive plan is no longer limited to Lebanese land, but rather the reasoning has evolved to embrace Hezbollah’s regional goals,” he concluded.
