Bank of Beirut called on its qualified customers to “visit their branches and take advantage of Banque du Liban Circular No. 158 before the expiry of the period given,  to sign the required documents to facilitate withdrawals in US dollars, two months after the issuance of Banque du Liban Circular No. 158 related to the gradual withdrawal of deposits in US dollars, and before the expiry of the specified period set by Banque du Liban, on September 30, 2021 to request the opening of the “Special Branch Account,” mentioned in the Banque’s statement.

It added: Since the beginning of last July, the bank has started implementing the aforementioned Banque du Liban circular, after all qualified clients of the bank were contacted and appointments were set for them to sign the documents and complete the necessary procedures.

It also announced “the possibility of making withdrawals in all its branches and through the bank’s ATM network.”
