In October, consumer prices increased by 16.42 %

In a statement, the Cabinet’s Central Statistics Department announced that the consumer price index in Lebanon for October 2021 increased by 16.42% compared to September 2021. This number also recorded the following at the governorate level:

An increase in Beirut governorate by 14.61%
An increase in the Mount Lebanon by 14.55%
An increase in the North by18.50%
An increase in the Bekaa by 20.44%.
An increase in the South by 17.97%
An increase in Nabatieh by 20.07%
