Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, tweeted the following:

“84 percent is evidence of the citizens’ desire to exercise their right and duty to vote. Thanks to all the staff for this result. I wish you success in your mission on Sunday, as I hope that the highest percentage of Lebanese residents will vote. Lebanon is waiting for you, together we will succeed.”
