Prime Minister Najib Mikati received Indian Ambassador Sohair Ijaz Khan, who said: “The meeting with President Mikati was fruitful, I conveyed to him India’s Prime Minister’s congratulations, who wished him success in his duties. We also discussed bilateral relations and the possibility of consolidating economic cooperation.”
Khan added : “I presented to him the social role, our battalion is playing within the international forces in the south, and President Mikati valued its role, and the meeting was very positive, and I assure that the Lebanese-Indian relations have always been excellent, and we will continue on strengthening and consolidating them.”
