On Friday, Ziad al-Makary, Minister of Information, received Joe Salloum, Syndicate Head of Pharmacists, with whom he addressed the country’s overall position, as well as the Ministry of Information’s important role in offering hope to Lebanese at home and abroad.

“We’ve also addressed the role of pharmacists and the Pharmacists’ Syndicate in restoring hope and securing medicine for people,” Salloum continued, stressing that a conference titled “Lebanon’s Pharmaceutical Identity” will be place on May 8.

“Medicine is an integral part of the country’s identity (…). Minister Al-Makary shares our opinion on these matters, and we continue to cooperate with him for the citizens’ best interest,” Salloum concluded.
