Interior Minister visits Martyr Hariri’s tomb: We insist on holding the elections

Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi visited the tomb of Martyr Rafic Hariri this morning, where he laid a wreath and recited Al-Fatihah for his soul.

After prayer, Mawlawi asserted that “the project of Rafic Hariri, as well as the project of the current government, is to build the state.”

He indicated that there is an insistence on holding the parliamentary elections.

Mawlawi also stressed that “Lebanon is Arab in identity and belonging, and that its image will not change, and its Arabhood is confirmed in the constitution, and it will remain Arab.”
