Is fuel scarcity a thing of the past?

Representative of fuel distributors in Lebanon, Fadi Abou Chakra  confirmed that “Tankers have begun loading fuel from various companies and headed to different spots, and we will work to find a potential solution to the gasoline situation.”

“The officials in the Lebanese state must take a decision on the topic of subsidies, either rationalization or lifting, or any other alternative,” Abou Chakra demanded.

“Presently, quantities of gasoline will be pumped into the Lebanese market,” said George Brax, a member of the Syndicate of Station Owners, “but the crisis will not be addressed so easily, because a state of panic prevails in the country, in addition to the pressure put on the stations that is significantly terrific.”

“The following hours will witness considerable improvement at the stations,” Brax expected.
