Avigdor Lieberman, the Israeli Finance Minister, answered to Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, about the extraction of gas from the joint field between Lebanon and Israel. “No one will dictate to us whether we will extract gas from our seas or not,” Lieberman said, adding that “Israel will continue to make decisions based only on its own interests, without regard for any threats.”

In his speech, yesterday, Thursday, Nasrallah had touched upon the oil and gas file in the Lebanese territorial waters and the Israeli aggression, in addition to the demarcation process, sending messages to the Israeli enemy and its allies and to some local parties.

“We do not want war, but we do not fear it, and the enemy must halt this activity, and any effort toward extracting oil and gas from the Karish gas field must cease” he said.
