Israeli Army reports trainings to boost its forces’ readiness for combat along Lebanese border

The Israeli Army announced the start of training today, Monday, to boost its forces’ readiness for combat along the Lebanese border.

The operations will begin Monday evening near the Lebanese border region and end Tuesday afternoon, according to Israel Defense Forces spokesman Avichay Adraee.

The exercise was planned ahead of time as part of the 2021 training program, and army units would be active in the region, according to the statement.

According to the statement, the exercise was designed to test the forces’ readiness for the days of battle, within the framework of studying how to apply lessons learned from recent operational events, with a focus on the lessons of Operation Fences Keeper, as part of a “joint investigation and learning process with the Gaza Division.”
