An Israeli strike on a car in southern Lebanon killed three people on Sunday, Reuters reported, citing four security sources in Lebanon.
Lebanon’s state-owned National News Agency said the Israeli strike hit the car between the villages of Aianata and Aitaroun near the border with Israel.
Three children aged from 8 to 14 were among those killed in the Israeli strike in southern Lebanon, Reuters reported, citing Hezbollah lawmaker Hassan Fadallah.
Fadallah said the Israeli strike is a “dangerous development” which will have repercussions.
Israeli forces and Iran-backed Hezbollah have been trading fire across the border since the Palestinian militant group Hamas and Israel went to war on October 7.
