Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri condemned the Israeli air aggression that targeted Syria from Lebanese airspace, stating that: “The Israeli violation of Lebanese airspace sovereignty and its re-use as a platform for aggression against sister Syria, endangering civil aviation to and from Martyr Rafic Hariri International Airport, is not only a serious breach of Resolution 1701, but also a declared aggression against Lebanon and Syria.”

“We call on the international community to intervene quickly in order to put a stop to the Israeli entity’s aggression against Lebanon and the region,” he continued.
