“Byblos Electric Contracting Company”, a subsidiary of the Byblos Electricity Company, announced in a statement to its subscribers that “after it was confirmed that the fuel oil was secured from Al-Wardiya Company continuously, starting next week, the entire reserve stock in the company will now be used.”
The statement added: “Therefore, we inform you that the rationing program for the majority of residential areas, starting from tomorrow, Saturday, is as follows:
1- 2:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.
2- 4:30 am to 6:00 am.
3- 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
As for the areas with the majority of trade:
1- 2:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.
2- 4:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The company thanked the “oil companies that cooperated with it during the previous periods, which are:
Uniterminal, United, IPT, Medco, Total”. She thanked the Ministry of Energy and Water, the Oil Directorate, and the Tripoli and Zahrani facilities.
It pointed out that “the value of the bills will double, starting from the month of October, due to the lifting of fuel subsidies and due to the reduction of rationing hours,” begging the “unaffordable” to reduce the subscription capacity, install the meter, and adopt self-rationing.
And it concluded: “For our part, we are committed to calculating the bill according to the cost, and at the same time we are committed to collecting all bills.”
