The Municipality of Jbeil has issued a statement whereby it said “combating the COVID-19 pandemic and limiting the spread of the virus is a collective effort and responsibility,” the National News Agency reported on Thursday.

The municipality called on families to register their names on the following link: https://covax.moph.gov.lb in order to start receiving vaccine shots.

“Help us register the largest number of elderly people so as to receive the vaccine within the geographical scope of our municipality, by informing us of their names,” the statement said.

“We are ready to visit them at home to fill out the form, and as soon as their inoculation dates are scheduled, we will contact them to escort them to the address as specified by the ministry so that they will take the vaccine,” it added.
