In a statement, the Appeal Public Prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Ghada Aoun clarified that regarding what is being circulated through the media regarding the prevention of money transfer abroad, I am interested in emphasizing the following:

• This decision deals only with the assets of five banks that were the subject of the decision to prevent disposal, and the funds of the chairmen and members of the board of directors.
• This decision is not related to the transfer of funds for the purchase of food or medical supplies, or related to the transfer of funds to students, and every transfer is justified by special needs.
