Progressive Socialist Party Chief, Walid Jumblatt, met this afternoon at Al-Mukhtara Palace with Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov, with talks touching on a number of political issues on the Lebanese and international scenes.

Jumblatt and his spouse, Mrs. Noura, invited the Russian diplomat and his accompanying delegation to stay for lunch, which was also attended by PSP Official Halim Bou Fakhreddine, and the Party’s Foreign Affairs Commissioner Zaher Raad.

Earlier, Ambassador Rudakov visited the branch of the Russian Cultural Center in Baakline where he had a closer look at its activities. He also visited the Baakline National Library and the Hamadeh Palace in the town.
