Head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, tweeted this Friday: “The country is deteriorating by the day, in the absence of a government. It is time to put compromise above all considerations, away from narrow personal calculations.”

“The principle of compromise is not a heresy, but rather a basis in life and politics,” he wrote.
