Former army commander, General Jean Kahwagi, came to the Palace of Justice in Beirut today, Friday, to appear before the judicial investigator in the Beirut port explosion case, Judge Tariq Bitar, regarding investigations in the relevant case, but the session was not held due to lawyers’ strike.
In this context, the former army chief’s deputy, confirmed that “the Bar Association’s strike affects all files, and his attendance at the Palace of Justice in Beirut is to refute what’s being said that he is afraid of investigation or is hiding something, and he has many things that he will highlight to the judicial investigator, indicating that “the session has been postponed to Monday, August 2.”
