The Public Relations Directorate of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) announced, in a statement, that “the Director General of NSSF, Dr. Mohammad Karaki, has ordered transferring around 506 million LBP to pay the full dues of hospitalization transactions for Batroun Hospital until the end of March 2021.”

This amount includes the hospital and medical committee’s share. Therefore, the transactions that are received successively will be processed as soon as they are received at the fund’s offices and directorates.”

On this occasion, Karaki called on the state to “adhere to its commitments to the fund, and to start paying its dues, which amounted to nearly 5,000 billion LBP, to enable it to continue to perform its national role in maintaining social security and peace.”
