Minister of Information, George Kordahi, on Thursday received in his office at the Ministry a delegation of representatives of electronic websites,  with whom he discussed the current situation and concerns of the sector.

The delegation briefed Minister Kordahi on the situation of the sector and the most prominent problems and challenges that they’re currently facing. The delegation stressed the need to organize these websites by setting standards and conditions to establish these platforms that guarantee the protection of citizens and media liberties.

In turn, Kordahi stressed the necessity of working to accomplish the special law for media websites currently in the custody of the parliament, asserting that he is exerting efforts to this effect.
