Walid Al-Bukhari, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, tweeted about the Jeddah Summit for Security and Development, saying, “The leaders stressed the importance of extending the Lebanese government’s control over all Lebanese territory, including implementing the provisions of the relevant Security Council resolutions and the Taif Agreement, in order for it to implement full sovereignty.”

It is worth noting that Lebanon was present in the deliberations of the leaders of the US-Gulf Summit, where the gathering nations stated their “support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as all the changes required to accomplish its economic recovery.”
