Kuwait Embassy in Lebanon urges its citizens to leave Lebanon

The Kuwaiti Embassy in Lebanon has urged Kuwaiti people to leave Lebanon quickly and to be patient if they wish to repatriate.

Heavy gunfire was heard near the Palace of Justice in Beirut, particularly in the Tayouneh district, where supporters of “Hezbollah” and “Amal Movement” assembled to march to the sit-in against Judge Tarek Bitar.

Supporters of the two parties began gathering in the Tayouneh area in preparation for marching to the Palace of Justice in Beirut, where the sit-in is being held, to stage a sit-in against Judge Tarek Bitar, the investigating judge in the Beirut port blast.

The protesters were shot at, and the protesters replied by firing back, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries, while ambulances rushed to the scene after receiving being notified of several injuries.
