The Lebanese Banks Association met to discuss the need of maintaining customer service continuity in the face of current severe security conditions and the need to ensure the safety of customers and staff equally in the lack of effective state protection.
As a result, the Association decided that banks would resume operations as of Monday, September 26, through channels determined by each bank for the operations of commercial, educational, hospital, and other institutions, and through ATMs for all, allowing them to make deposits and withdrawals and securing public sector salaries.
