Lebanese Canadian Hospital receives 20,000 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines

The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hamad Hassan, signed an agreement with the Lebanese Canadian Hospital, represented by MP Elias Bou Saab, declaring the insurance of 20,000 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines provided by the Ministry of Public Health.

The agreement stipulates that the hospital will pay for the vaccines by transferring the amount to the donation account to fight against Covid-19 in the Ministry of Finance for the benefit of the Ministry of Health, to be paid by the Ministry in turn to the company at a price of twelve dollars per vaccine, provided that the vaccines arrive gradually in July, August and September 2021, unless any modification is made by the supplier company.

The vaccine is given for free and in conformity with the criteria set by the National Committee’s plan, so that all recipients of the vaccine must have previously registered through the vaccination platform.
