The black market dollar opened the last week of 2022 with a further increase, despite all expectations of the availability of foreign exchange liquidity during the holidays and the visits of tourists and expatriates to Lebanon at the end of the year.

The exchange rate of the dollar on the black market was recorded in the afternoon (Monday 12-26-2022) between 46,900 Lebanese pounds and 47,000, after it recorded in the morning 46,200 and 46,300 Lebanese pounds for one dollar.
