The media office of Bahaa Hariri issued an important statement, stating the following:

“With the presidential vacancy entering its eighth month, it is unfortunate that this entitlement continues to be a prisoner of the cycle of procrastination and deliberate obstruction, awaiting the end of the agreement on political deals with known goals for personal interests, at a time when collapses and slippages continue as a result of these irresponsible behaviors, which may lead to the elimination of Lebanon and its formula.”

In this tough time, the first step that shall be taken is to resort to Lebanese constitution, i.e. the Taef Agreement, and  start implementing all its provisions without exception. Such an implementation would constitute the real and essential entry point for the country’s political stability, and thus the election of a free and sovereign president is secured.”
