“We have faith in Pope Francis’s visit to Iraq, to bring hope into the souls of Christians and the people of the region who are suffering in the land of their ancestors”, the member of the Strong Republic Bloc, MP Ziad Al-Hawat, affirmed via twitter.

“Lebanon, like other countries, is in a dire need for dialogue and neutrality, in addition to the Supreme Pontiff ‘s urgent help in the region”, he concluded.
