Former Deputy Prime Minister Ghassan Hasbani said on his Twitter account that the ruling officials have lifted subsidies on major commodities instead of lifting their political immunities.
He tweeted: “Instead of lifting immunities, they lifted subsidies and without providing an alternatives, such as the financing card, which remained ink on paper without clear fundamentals for distribution and control, and the funds required for this card are incomplete.”
Hasbani added: “Citizens are experiencing medicine, fuel, and food outages, and they are missing justice as well. Lebanon is sliding back to the stone age and the ruling majority is still arguing about the rights to form a government.”
