Lebanon has received the Red Notice from Interpol, calling for the arrest of the governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, an international arrest warrant has been issued by Interpol against him.

An informed source revealed last Tuesday, through Reuters, that French prosecutors have issued an arrest warrant against the governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh.

The source added that the warrant was issued after Salameh failed to attend a questioning session in Paris.

In response to the decision issued by French judge Odile Bouruzi, Salameh stated that he will appeal the decision.
