Lebanon registers new spike in fuel prices

Fuel prices in Lebanon registered a new spike on Wednesday as the price of 95 octane gasoline rose 500 Lebanese pounds and that of 98 octane gasoline increased 400 LBP, according to a table issued on Wednesdays by the Lebanese Ministry of Energy.

The price of diesel oil also increased 600 LBP while that of a gas cylinder dropped 200 LBP.

The prices are now as follows:

95 octane gasoline: 39,100 LBP

98 octane gasoline: 40,200 LBP

Diesel oil: 26,700 LBP

Gas cylinder: 24,500 LBP
