Press information revealed that there is a serious tendency from owners of major stations to halt operations permanently, if the subsidy is not lifted in the next two days.
Citizens continue to suffer from an unprecedented fuel crisis, as the country has turned into long “queues” of cars, amid severe outages in diesel and gasoline.
On the other hand, the International Support Group for Lebanon stressed that the deteriorating crisis in the country “highlights the urgent need to form a government capable of implementing the required reforms, meeting the urgent needs of the Lebanese people, and paving the way for international support.”
The support group called on “all parties to work towards putting an end to this crisis immediately.”
