Nabih Berri, the Speaker of Parliament, expressed optimism that things would improve and that a rescue cabinet will be formed for the country.

Berri pointed out in a press interview, “We hope that the formation period will not be extended, but we wish good luck and success in the effort of forming and accelerating the process that we are in greatest need and in the very near future in order to start reforms to limit the country’s suffocating crisis. Let’s hope for brighter times ahead.”
