Member of the Israeli Emergency Government, Avigdor Lieberman, emphasized through the platform that “We must not accept the stories that are being circulated that dozens of rockets launched from Lebanon and reaching Kiryat were launched by Hamas.”

He argued that there is no scenario in which such an extensive launch can occur from Lebanese territory without the consent and coordination of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah.

Lieberman stated, “The party responsible for the rocket launches is not Hamas in Lebanon but Hezbollah, and they must bear the consequences with a strong hand and without mercy.”

He further stressed that Israel must shift from a policy of inclusivity to a policy of firmness.
