The US State Department called for the creation of a powerful Lebanese government committed to implementing reforms, Al Hurra channel reported today.

This statement from the United States was preceded by a call from the United Kingdom to Lebanese officials to “act now to undertake reforms,” as well as an assurance that the international community stands ready to assist Lebanon.
