Head of the Change Movement, Elie Mahfoud, tweeted: “How can institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank take steps towards Lebanon, that is mired in corruption and militia domination… and how can countries support a worn-out state that has not taken any reform steps at the administrative level? …All the financial and economic movement revolves in a vicious circle, and before the liberation of legitimacy from its kidnappers, there will be no upright state.”
