Mawlawi: Lebanon will not be a platform to offend our brotherly Arab countries

The media office for the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Judge Bassam Mawlawi issued a statement indicating that the “Ministry of Interior and Municipalities and its security services has begun immediately investigating the background of holding a press conference in Beirut, which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain stated that it included an official objection against the Kingdom.”

Mawlawi asked for collecting information about the participants in the conference to take the appropriate measures against everyone who intended to offend the Kingdom from the heart of the capital, Beirut, to any friendly and brotherly country.

Minister Mawlawi reiterates his position and rejected that Lebanon would be a platform to offend the Arab brothers. He also condemned any encroachment on the Kingdom of Bahrain and all the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, recalling the need to give close relations with Arab countries a top priority and to stand united with the Arab brothers, and not to interfere in the internal affairs of the Gulf states.”
