Minister of the Interior, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, addressed a letter to the General Directorate of General Security, requesting that “all measures be taken to deport non-Lebanese members of the Bahraini Al-Wefaq Society, given the fact that the press conference held by the aforementioned society in Beirut on 11/12/2021 has brought harm to Lebanon’s relationship with the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain, thus harming the interests of the Lebanese state.”
