The Middle East Airlines announced that fully vaccinated Schengen visa holders will be allowed to enter Geneva.
The air carrier indicated in a statement that “based on the decision issued by the Swiss authorities after reducing Lebanon’s classification in terms of the spread of the Corona epidemic, it is vital to announce the amendment of travel procedures from Lebanon to Geneva, starting from September 14, 2021.”
MEA added: “Holders of a Schengen visa, Type D or Type C, are allowed to enter Geneva, but should be holding a vaccination certificate (two doses at least 14 days ago), and the vaccine should be recognized by the European Union to enter Geneva.”
Citizens and residents of Switzerland and European Union countries are also allowed to enter Geneva “stipulated that they have a vaccination certificate (two doses at least 14 days ago) or a negative PCR result 72 hours before their travel date.”
