On December 28, 2021, the State Security Directorate in the western Bekaa arrested two individuals:

A.H, of Lebanese nationality and A.A. of Syrian nationality, for practicing the medical profession in the Gaza Dispensary – West Bekaa without being granted the required legal licenses. Both are at present detained, pending investigations into the extent of the harm they inflicted on patients by prescribing random drugs and treatments.
