Prime minister Najib Mikati said at beginning of Cabinet session that “a lot of work and fatigue awaits us, and all of us must make sacrifices, as the country requires exceptional measures”.

Mikati addressed the new ministers, saying: “I ask you to reduce media appearances because people look at actions and are no longer interested in words and promises”.

|Our government will work for the sake of all of Lebanon and for all the Lebanese; it will not discriminate between proponents or opponents, or between those who declared their support for us and those who did not, or those who will give us their confidence in a few days and those who will not, and we will exercise our role without any maliciousness under the roof of the law”, he added.
