Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with Stephen Hickey, Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), on Thursday at the Grand Serail, in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Ian Collard.
Discussions reportedly touched on the current developments in Lebanon and the region.
On the other hand, Mikati received Canadian Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Cynthia Termorshuizen, accompanied by Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Chantal Chastenay.
Discussions touched on the bilateral Lebanese-Canadian relations and the means to develop them.
Separately, Mikati met with Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Saadé Chami.
