Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Tuesday met at the Grand Serail with US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, with whom he discussed the country’s general situation, as well as bilateral ties between the two countries.
Mikati also welcomed a delegation of the Petroleum Sector Authority’s Board of Directors, who briefed him on “the latest developments related to petroleum activities that will be implemented in Block No. 9 soon by Total, as well as on matters related to the second licensing round to award the remaining eight blocks that are still open.”
Mikati then welcomed MP Mohammad Suleiman, with whom he discussed developments and livelihood demands in Akkar region.
The PM also had an audience with head of the Higher Council of Customs, Brigadier General Asaad Tufayli.
