In clarification of what is being circulated in some media outlets and through press statements, we confirm that there is no invitation to hold a session of the Council of Ministers next Tuesday. Instead, there will be a consultative meeting on national matters. The Prime Minister stated after his meeting with His Beatitude the Maronite Patriarch: “During the discussion with His Beatitude, there was a suggestion to hold a meeting for ministers in the Diman on Tuesday at 11 a.m. to discuss the risks that threaten all Lebanese and to formulate how to confront them and safeguard our society from their dangers.” It was necessary to clarify this matter.
