Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with President Michel Aoun in Baabda.
Mikati said :”The interview with the Minister of Information was recorded more than a month before forming the government, and it expresses his opinion.”
He added: “We are keen on the best relations with the Arab and Gulf countries, and we distance ourselves from conflicts. We look forward to the best relations with them. President Aoun asked me to confirm this stance, and I hope that this issue is over.”
“We are seeking to re-convene the Council of Ministers, as for the port file, the judiciary plays its full role without any political interference in it, but it must correct its course.”
